Shandelle (Shay) Marie Langston, Founder
Shay was the founder of Chicken Save, serving as the Executive Director up until her untimely passing. It was her vision, determination, and depth of compassion that has inspired us all.
Bethany Robertson, Executive Director
Bethany has been a life-long vegan and actively promoting compassion and veganism since she was four years old. She come to Chicken Save as the Director of Community Outreach and has served as the Executive Director since March 2023. Benthany says her greatest joy is in seeing "the lightbulb go on" when she informs others about factory farming issues.
Jeffrey Langston, Director of Community Outreach
Jeffrey has a strong background in community outreach and a tireless commitment to environmental, humanitarian, and animal advocacy issues. He admits entering the advocacy arena by way of the environmental path, but says, "Once you find out about the ethical implications, there's no going back."
OUR ACTIVITIES
Our primary activity is to raise public awareness of the unjust and inhumane conditions that egg-laying and meat-producing chickens are subjected to on factory farms. All employees of Chicken Save work on a volunteer basis and all donations made to Chicken Save go directly to organizations actively campaigning on behalf of improving the lives of these animals.
