BBQ Chicken
Tender, juicy, vegan "chicken breasts" smothered in BBQ sauce.

Equipment
- 1 medium sized bowl
- 1 sauté pan
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 pkg vegan chicken strips
- 1 jar vegan BBQ sauce Avoid sauces containing honey or natural flavoring
- 1 Tablespoon oil to coat pan
Instructions
- Combine flour and baking powder in medium bowl. Mix in water until it's a smooth batter.
- Add chicken strips and stir to coat. Press strips into 4-5 lumps. The batter serves to glue the strips loosely together.
- Cook lumps in a skillet that is coated with vegetable oil on medium heat until they become golden brown on both sides.
- Smother lumps in BBQ sauce and continue cooking until sauce gets dark and somewhat caramelized.
